Georgia #6 – A Lesson Unlearned

The Democrats thought they were becalmed, merely waiting for the right breeze to rise up and put them out to sea.  They put up pajama boy, Jon Ossoff, against a notoriously poor campaigner who had lost more races than she had won, including two statewide.

The Democrat’s cynicism and naked contempt for voters is not abating. Ossoff, didn’t live in the district he hoped to represent, presented himself as a “conservative Democrat,” a “blue dog” if you will, purposefully characterized himself as young – he is, and naive – he isn’t, and raised some 90% of his money from non-Georgia sources. In fact California and New York king-makers each donated more than all of his Georgia support.

Simply, four times now in special elections, we have learned that being against The Donald is not a winning theme, it offers voters no positive reason to look. But, the Democrats are claiming again a moral victory They were close in a red district and did better than expected in neighboring South Carolina’s special election. But, close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

Finally, if the Democrats continue to waste vast sums on losing causes, they will remain a regional party, bi-coastal with a few pockets of support in between. And, they will be broke, morally, spiritually, and financially. Could The Donald be right? Republicans will be so tired from winning they’ll have to let Democrats win occasionaly just to rest.

The “Progressive” Left & Violence

The violence must end now! At least one “leader” of the cult we call the “Progressive” Left has to stand up now and say ENOUGH! Enough of George Soros funded “demonstrations” that devolve into riots; Enough of stabbings and beheadings of the President; Enough of fantasies of White House bombings, ENOUGH!

Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Hillary Clinton, not one has condemned the extreme violence advocated by the “Resistance.”

The MSM and its surrogates, the Democrat Party funded by George Soros, will feebly try rationalize this and no doubt blame guns first and the “right” second. WE must fight!

A brief thought on a (disgraced) Mr. Comey

It seems now that the dust has settled.  It’s interesting that the two damning things from Mr. Comey’s testimony are first, that he was cowed against his better judgment and F.B.I. policy by A.G. Lynch and called the criminal investigation of Hillary a “matter,” and second, that he secretly provided to a friend an official government document specifically and admittedly to leak it to the mainstream media with the hope of prompting the appointment of a “Special Counsel,” in effect a punishment.

This second point is quite troubling because Mr. Comey assured us that the F.B.I. could not be misdirected, that in its professional capacity it simply could not be matched. He also assured that the Congressional committees reviewing the matter are bi-partisan, cooperative, and professional with the same aims and goals. Yet he secretly harbored a desire for a “special counsel,” which, as we know from history in both Democrat and Republican “scandals,” will stray far from the subject, spend vast sums of time and money, and produce nothing of value to our country.

How confident in Mr. McCabe, the Deputy Director, and others was Mr. Comey if he felt the need to remove from his own portfolio, the investigation?

The Donald won. Learn to live with it.

The “Progressive” Left faults The Donald for all they hate –  they hate quite a lot. Anti-Trump protesters have taken to the streets across America chanting, “He’s not my president, not today.” True. He won’t be for another 71 days. But, he ran against 16 Republicans, he ran against Hillary, he ran against the legacy Media – for the first time ever, fully exposed (Eeeewww) for its leftist bias and absence of ethics, and he was elected.

Hillary didn’t lose because of misogyny, or ignorance or hate.  She lost because her ideas, her campaign style, and her lack of an over-arching theme failed to move enough voters in her favor. She lost because she is tainted by corruption, hers, her husband’s. and as we see in the stolen emails published by Wikileaks, by those around her. She lost.

She lost in large part because of the cynicism of the Progressive-Left-Democrat coalition.  It sees Latinos as “needy,” Blacks as “saps,” and Hillary herself, according Neera Tanden and John Podesta in the stolen emails, doesn’t like American voters. It’s difficult to lure them to your cause when you hold them in contempt, charge them “deplorable,” and float above their menial interests . . .

Finally, their notion of “diversity” includes a vast array of demographics, except for different thought.  The “Progressive” Left embraces anyone who doesn’t question “Doublethink,” commit a “thoughtcrime,” or reject “Big Brother.”  They see H. G. Wells’ Nineteen Eighty-Four not as a warning of the horrors totalitarianism, but as an instruction manual on how to achieve it . . .

The Convention of unconvention

Day one of the Democrat National Convention was unconventional, even for “Progressives.”

It featured precisely NO American flags. But, not worry. Displayed prominently were contemporary Palestinian flags and even historic flags of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Neither among the 61 orations was there mention of terrorism, ISIS, ISIL, or even Daesh if you’re inclined like John “Boltneck” Kerry to attach big words to small minded troglodytes.

Tonight will be more compelling featuring the mother of Michael Brown to further the disproved claim, “Hands up, don’t shoot” which fostered the terror group, Black Lives Matter. Coupled with The New Black Panthers, American Communists, and assorted and sundry miscreants groups, YaHoo it will be fun!

Snakes on a Plane . . . The Sequel . . .

The best thing anyone can find to say about the clandestine meeting between Billary and Loretta Lynch in Phoenix is “careless.” One would expect nothing more, or less, from Bill whose law license was suspended for his utter disregard of his oath as a lawyer, his dismissal of the professional ethical elements of its code, and his contempt for the “little people.” That would be be everyone other than his inside circle of cronies, miscreants, and criminals.

But, there is NO excuse for Attorney General Lynch. As the chief law enforcement officer of the United States she must not even suggest a hint of inappropriate acts, careless or not. She most certainly knows that even the appearance of impropriety is actionable and indistinguishable from real conflicts.

On a near daily basis she is presenting herself as incompetent.

Assault Rifles and Terror Lists . . .

The slaughter of 49 innocent souls in Orlando has rekindled arguments over “gun control” and Lists, no-fly and terrorist. Much of the reporting in the main-stream media, or, as Rush calls it, the Drive-by Media has been colossally wrong – an ongoing lesson in the incuriosity of journalism today.  Most of them type for the Democrat National Committee, hence accuracy in unrewarded. Yes my “Progressive” friends . . . in spite of your rants about Fox News, you know it’s true. That said . . .

The AR-15 so vilified is not an “automatic” weapon, nor was it used in this terrorism. An “assault rifle” is any “long-gun” or rifle with a pistol grip and folding stock. It is usually small, not large caliber, and is no more lethal than any other rifle. The Democrat Party and “Progressives” are apparently aesthetically opposed but not factually or logically persuaded. Facts are so pesky.

Now, for the Lists: The NRA and every Republican Senator, even those not supported by the NRA oppose Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who can’t be confused with Einstein, and her notion of simply denying gun purchases to those posted on the lists maintained by the Federal Government. Why? Because, as Ted Kennedy, yes, Senator Kennedy found out, his name was on a no-fly list in 2004 and he was denied boarding at National Airport. This, in spite of the fact that everyone knew he was a philanderer, alcoholic but not a terrorist. It took him months to straighten out the data even though he was universally known! Today, in  2016 there is still no process to appeal your government’s mistake, or, in light of what we know of the I.R.S., intentional assaults against Conservative groups and all citizens.

Even worse, no, WORST, is that if you’re a terrorist, you are not likely to know you’re on a list until you seek a gun and are denied. Shazzam! you now know you are under surveillance, you run for the tall grass, and most important, you alert your fellow troglodyte Islamo-Nazis!

The NRA and Republican positions are mis-characterized by the DNC/Billary/Drive-By Media complex. And, as results from so many “Progressive” solutions, when they fail, many will die unnecessarily.

A Conundrum

It is an old axiom:

How do you tell a politician is lying? She’s moving her lips. Certainly, Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton (affectionately “Billary”) proves the point more surely than the “science of Global Warming, er, Climate Change, at least to her opponents.

So, if the theory is infallible, why, when The Donald speaks, do his opponents believe each and every utterance, hyperbolic or not?

My theory about the theory is that the theory is sound. Mr. Trump’s opponents, largely fawning Billary worshipers are defective.

I’ll seek a grant from the Clinton Crime Foundation or the Clinton Library and Massage Parlor to study the paradox . . .

Obvious Questions for The Donald . . .

Mr. Trump has claimed since being called out by Marco Rubio, that he did not employ illegal workers in the razing of a building to make room for Trump Tower. Instead, for several days and again this morning on all of the Sunday political circuses, he avers that he had a general contractor who employed the workers, beyond his responsibility.

The obvious questions that eluded Chris Wallace, John Dickerson, George Stephanopoulos, and Chuck Todd are: (1) If your contractor illegally employed illegals, why did YOU, The Donald, pay a $1,000,000 fine?  And, (2) Surely, you are a good enough businessman – as you remind us daily – to know that you don’t have to pay other’s fines. Surely you negotiated into your contract protections against bad behavior by your contractors.

These interrogators are reputedly smart and clever. Each has a cast of characters crafting research and drafting questions. And each, lives to impress each other, if not us, the viewer.  Yet each missed the obvious, and Chuck Todd doubled-down on dumb. Because The Donald tweeted a quote from Mussolini, allegedly unaware of the original source. Todd asked, “Do you like being associated with a Fascist?”

The quote, “It is better to live one day as a lion than 100 years as a sheep” is remarkably close in substance to the official motto of the Great State of New Hampshire, “Live Free or Die.”

Apparently Chuck finds this notion offensive. And you need more evidence he’s a progressive?
