upChuck Hagel

We listened to a good deal of Chuck Hagel’s defense of Barry’s amnesty for Taliban Troglodytes. We are happy for Nebraskans no longer represented in the U.S. Senate (“The World’s most Dilettantish Body”) by Chuck.

Several things were striking. First, of course, was his push-back against “unnamed White House Sources” who drove the bus over him with some vigor, suggesting that Chuck made the final decision to release the Trogs. Anyone with a room temperature IQ would dismiss that notion, which the Mainstream Media didn’t.  Whenever there is a possibility of ugly consequences tarnishing the president, the decision is made at The White House. Period, as Barry is apt to say.  In this case, it wasn’t a possibility, it was 100% certain to draw fire . . . although apparently that was unknown only to those in The White House. Remember their mantra: We’re not malevolent. We’re incompetent.

Second was Chuck’s insistence that freeing the Fab Five did not place Americans at greater risk because “they will never return to America.” Billary Clinton and John French Kerry are equally dismissive of the notion that these bad actors are a threat.  What puzzles is why no member of the Armed Services Committee noted that there are Americans in theater who are directly threatened by these sub-humans. Two of these animals in fact, are judged “war criminals” by the United Nations, surprising indeed given its high threshold for bad behavior.

We will not hear from these freed friends of Barry as surely as Iraq won’t fall into dirty hands wasting 4,500 brave Americans who served with “honor and distinction.” “Oh wait!,” you say. Mosul and Tikrit have fallen and Baghdad is soon to slide back to the 14th century.  I rest my case.
