Jonathan S. Tobin discusses here a question we have asked repeatedly:  If the Benghazi slaughter scandal is “phony” Mr. Barry Hussein Soetoro Obama, why not encourage the Republican opposition to waste its time on it; why not provide every damned detail that will acquit your Administration of any mis or mal feasance; and why not righteously ridicule and diminish the Republicans for what you claim you can demonstrate – not mischief – but rather gross incompetence? (Whew, that’s comforting . . . careless, not corrupt.)

Much the same can be said of the other “phony” scandals, especially the I.R.S.  Let those “low-level” employees slither up the rope and let the Chief Counsel defend his office – and the Administration. There’s nothing to hide.  Yeah, right.
