Capitalism lives on and this fragrant display, Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway and 3G Capital to buy Heinz in $28bn deal, nods to one of its great virtues, competition.

It was painful enough buying Heinz ketchup from Theresa and John Kerry Heinz. But, ketchup from Warren Buffett, a man who can’t pronounce his own name?  Nope, it’s time to move up to Hunt’s . . .

Oh, the old scamster overpaid . . . Ketchup is targeted for it intense use of sugar and high-fructose corn syrup, pitting Mr. Buffett directly against Mayor Doomburg, N.Y.C.
